Become An Apprentice: Applicant Information
2026 Applications are open. There are four places available and you can expect a response within 48 hours.
If you have not already done so, please read the full prospectus carefully (line by line) before applying.
Your application will either accepted immediately, accepted after further correspondence or rejected. Rejected applicants may be able to apply again after 12 months.
Please be prepared to schedule an interview within seven days of sending your initial application. Failure to do this may affect your ability to enrol.
AI is a useful tool for planning, drafting and grammar checks. However, please do not submit an AI generated answer when applying for this programme. Doing so will result in an immediate rejection upon manual review, without the opportunity to re-apply.
Letter of Suitability guidance: tailoring your application to the programme details is likely to work well (similar to writing a cover letter). Conversely, vague applications, especially those which fail to demonstrate a solid understanding of what is actually being applied for (e.g. calling this five year, apprenticeship style tarot divination training ‘tarot classes’) will not result in acceptance.
Those currently charging money in exchange for tarot readings cannot apply unless fully willing and able to immediately suspend this practice until Stage II has been completed.
All accepted applicants join the Pro Bono Tarot Guild (PBTG) automatically. Therefore, initial applications should be made after you have read, understood and agreed to the PBTG’s code of ethics.
